Is the tutoring one-on-one?
Yes. Our one-on-one tutoring approach provides maximum benefits by increasing knowledge of subject matter and building self-esteem. You have the option of meeting in person or online.
Where does the tutoring take place?
Our locations are as varied as our students. Tutoring can be provided in the student's home, an office, daycare center, summer camp, school, or online.
What ages do you tutor?
SOS caters to all ages, Every Subject and Every Grade Level. Our tutors work with students of all ages and grade levels. Whether you want support in biology or geography, our tutors are the experts who will be able to meet your needs. From kindergarten through grad school, students find the help they need with us!
What kind of results can I expect?
Early on, you will see increased confidence and more interest in the subject matter. Teachers will notice more class participation. Homework will become easier and done more independently. And, of course, grades and scores will improve.
What if my child or I feel the tutor is not the correct match?
Let us know and we will be happy to change tutors.
What are the qualifications of the tutors?
Our tutors have Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degrees and years of experience teaching and/or tutoring in their respective fields. We do background checks on all tutors. And we take extra care in contracting tutors and teachers with personalities that engage and inspire students.
